Five reasons AI leaves you out, and the fix for each

When a model recommends a competitor, there's usually a concrete reason. Each one comes with a draft you can review and publish.

  • No page answers the question

Buyers ask how you compare with a competitor, or which tool suits their case. If no page on your site answers that, AI quotes someone else's.

Comparison pagesA draft of the page buyers look for when they compare you with a competitor, written from your real features and prices.

  • AI repeats wrong facts about you

An old price, a feature you dropped, a plan you never had. Models repeat what they read, even when it's out of date.

Correction requestsA short, polite request to fix wrong information about you, with the source that proves it.

  • You're not on the pages AI cites

Answers lean on the same lists, directories and reviews. If you're not on them, you're rarely in the answer.

Directory submissionsThe listings AI keeps citing in your category, with a submission drafted for each one.

    Name: Ledgerkite

    Category: Invoicing

Pitch: Invoices that chase late payments for you

  • AI crawlers can't read your site

A robots.txt rule, pages that only render in the browser or missing structured data can hide you completely.

robots.txt that lets AI inThe exact lines to change so AI crawlers can read your marketing pages, while your app stays private.

    robots.txt

Structured dataJSON-LD that states your product's name, category and plans in a form machines read without guessing.

  • AI can't tell what you're for

If your homepage says you're building the future of work, models can't match you to invoicing for freelancers.

Positioning sentenceA clearer one-line description of what you do, and the pages where it should appear.

    Homepage headline

Before: The future of work, simplified.

After: Invoicing for freelancers that chases late payments for you.

How it compares with the tools you've seen

Most tools either count AI mentions or are built for online stores. BrandPicked is built for SaaS, and every problem it finds ends with a fix.

What we never do

  • Publish without you. Every fix is a draft you review and publish.
  • Generate pages in bulk. Thin pages hurt your domain and get filtered out.
  • Write fake reviews or run fake accounts.
  • Plant posts on Reddit or forums to sway what AI reads.
  • Automate chat apps. We query models through their official APIs.
  • Promise results. Nobody controls what AI says, so we show the numbers before and after.

Why I'm building BrandPicked

I've launched SaaS products the usual way: a good page, a launch post, a few directories. Then I noticed how buyers had started to choose tools. They asked ChatGPT, and it named three products. Mine was rarely one of them.

I wanted to know why, and what to change. The tools I found either drew charts of mentions or were built for online stores. None of them told me which page to write or which fact to correct.

BrandPicked is the tool I wanted: it shows whether AI recommends your product, explains why not and hands you fixes you publish yourself. I'm building it in the open, and the waitlist gets it first.

Questions before you join

Something else on your mind? Write to support@brandpicked.ai.

What is the free AI Verdict, and when do I get it?

A one-off check. We ask one or two AI models five to ten questions your buyers ask, then show how often you're recommended, who gets picked instead and the three fixes that matter most. You get a result you can share.

We're onboarding the waitlist in small groups, in the order signups were confirmed. Everyone starts with the free AI Verdict.

Which AI models do you check?

ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. The free AI Verdict covers one or two of them.

We ask through their official APIs. That's close to what a buyer sees in the app, but not identical, because logged-in answers can be personalised. Treat the results as a strong signal, not a screenshot of every buyer's screen.

Isn't this just SEO?

It overlaps. Many fixes, like clear pages and structured data, help search too. The difference is what we measure: whether AI models recommend you when buyers ask, not where you rank in a list of links.

Will you change anything on my site?

No. We read your public pages, like any visitor, and never need access to your site or code. Every fix comes as a draft that you review, edit and publish yourself.

We don't generate pages in bulk, write fake reviews, run fake accounts or seed posts. Those are the tactics that get sites penalised and accounts banned.

Connecting Google Analytics and Stripe is optional and read-only, and only needed to measure traffic and revenue. Later, we plan to send fixes for sites built with frameworks like Next.js or Astro as pull requests you can merge or close.

Can you guarantee AI will recommend me?

No, and nobody honestly can. Models change, and nobody controls their answers. We show you why you're missing, give you fixes for what's fixable and measure what happens after each one.

What does it cost?

The AI Verdict is free. We'll publish prices for the paid plans before anyone can buy.

Joining the waitlist is free and commits you to nothing.

What do you do with my data?

We keep your email address and, if you give it to us, your product's URL. We use them to email you about the launch and your invitation, and to prepare your AI Verdict.

This site has no analytics and no third-party scripts. Leave the waitlist and we delete your data straight away.
